This is a series of 4 video stories that I created while studying at the University of Iowa in the Intermedia Department. The department had a long tradition of video art and a new set of digital tools. This was one of my first experiments in mildly abstract digital video storytelling.
I used old family audio recordings and performers from my life that represented the characters in my grandfathers life. The videos merged fact and legend from my mother’s childhood. According to her, Chesheck “rang the bell and dug the graves at the church where God was born”.
